Sonitor Technologies, Inc. and Tagnos, Inc. Announce Strategic Marketing Agreement

Complementary Real-Time Platforms Delivers Full-Service Solution at White Memorial Hospital

LADERA RANCH, CA and LARGO, FL--(Marketwire - February 26, 2008) - Tagnos, Inc., an enterprise-ready intelligent location-based service provider for healthcare, and Sonitor® Technologies, Inc., the leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of a proprietary ultrasound Indoor Positioning System (IPS) and Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS), today announced a strategic alliance to co-market their respective real-time location solutions to healthcare organizations.

Tagnos and Sonitor Technologies will deliver the complete solution in asset-tracking devices, utilizing Sonitor's 100% accurate IPS technology and Tagnos' adaptable, open-design software interface. The companies will coordinate sales and marketing efforts to a variety of healthcare organizations, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. The full-service, integrated solution is currently installed at White Memorial Hospital, a 350-bed not-for-profit community hospital in East Los Angeles. Patients are being followed through continuum of care to ensure that they are receiving appropriate care, rapid throughput and keeping families informed during patient stay.

Neeraj Bhavani, President and CEO of Tagnos, stated, "Tagnos is pleased to announce the co-marketing agreement and strategic alliance with Sonitor. Sonitor's sub-room level technology offers a highly accurate alternative to traditional RFID asset-tracking devices, and complements our unique, adaptable software interface. The co-marketing agreement successfully presents a high-value solution to greatly improve hospital facility throughput, boost staff productivity, and increase the quality of care by finding and treating patients more effectively."

Terry Aasen, President and CEO of Sonitor Technologies, Inc., commented, "The co-marketing agreement with Tagnos enables us to offer our location technology to healthcare facilities utilizing Tagnos' enterprise-ready application software. The full-service application will offer a high-value return on investment and enable healthcare organizations to address inefficiency issues, such as lost time and equipment."

The Sonitor indoor positioning system (IPS) uses detectors and tags that are linked through the existing wired or wireless local area network (LAN) to a digital file containing all vital statistics and information about the item or person being monitored. The motion activated tag transmits a unique identification signal using ultrasound waves to special detectors that use Sonitor patented ultrasound signal Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms. The detectors transmit signals via an existing LAN to a central computer that stores the information about the tag's room-location and the time of receipt of the signal. Sonitor's ultrasound technology ensures that detectors interpret tag signals without risk of interference from any environmental noise or other signals, nor interfere with sensitive instruments. The system is designed for safety and all emitted sound pressure levels are within the international regulations for the safe use of ultrasound.
