Sony Ericsson Reaches Three Million Fans on Facebook

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Dec. 15, 2010) - Only a matter of weeks after reaching a total of two million, Sony Ericsson has now passed the three million fan milestone on the official Sony Ericsson Facebook page.

The brand's activity on its official Facebook page has had a hugely positive effect on the number of Facebook users opting to become fans of the page. Weekly competitions offer members of the community the opportunity to win some of the latest Xperia™ handsets, such as the X10 and X10 Mini Pro. These competitions usually comprise of a question with multiple answers to choose from; once entrants are fans of the Sony Ericsson Global page they're eligible to enter, as well as being able to view a wide range of content exclusive to the Facebook page.
