Sony Expands Its 4K Ultra HD TV Line Offering Consumers Even Greater Choice

Sony Continues to Lead the 4K Ultra HD Market With Its 3rd Generation of Flagship Models

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - September 04, 2013) - Sony today announced the expansion of its 4K Ultra HD TV line-up with the addition of the X850A series, available in 55- and 65-inch screens (models XBR-55X850A and XBR-65X850A). With four times the resolution of Full HD and Sony's unique TRILUMINOS Display, the new X850A series screens incorporate a slim bezel which highlights an elegant design, and offer customers the flexibility of connecting to an existing or separate home theater system. This new series offers a complementary alternative to the existing X900A series (models XBR-55X900A and XBR-65X900A), which features Sony's unique magnetic fluid speakers in a chassis design that delivers a remarkably immersive all-in-one video and audio experience.
