TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 8, 2011) - KNIGHTSCOVE MEDIA CORP. (TSX VENTURE:KC.A)(TSX VENTURE:KC.B) ( ("Knightscove"), is pleased to announce that SOPHIE, a feature film produced by subsidiary Knightscove Family Films Inc., is now available for viewing as part of Air Canada's in-flight entertainment in the Canadian Movies section.

Part of SOPHIE's 2011 release schedule includes in-flight entertainment on international airlines as well as onboard cruise ships. Knightscove is extremely pleased that SOPHIE will be airing as part of Air Canada's in-flight entertainment as it gives our Canadian investors the opportunity to watch the movie in their travels. SOPHIE is also available on The Movie Network ("TMN") and will be followed by an expected DVD release in early 2012.

SOPHIE stars Brittany Bristow (Blizzard and TV's Baxter) in the title role as a girl whose life is focused on two great loves; ballet and animals. When her beloved elephant, Sheba, is sold to a travelling circus, Sophie sets out to reclaim her - embarking on an unforgettable adventure! SOPHIE also stars John Rhys-Davies (Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy), Erica Durance (Lois Lane on TV's Smallville) and Deborah Kara Unger (TV's Combat Hospital).

SOPHIE has played at film festivals around the world to much acclaim, including the prestigious Heartland Film Festival in October 2011. The film also enjoyed an exclusive theatrical run in Canada in November 2011.

The company is also pleased to announce that its holiday classic BLIZZARD is airing on networks across Canada for its eight consecutive year. BLIZZARD stars Christopher Plummer, Kevin Pollack, Brenda Blethyn, and Whoopi Goldberg as the voice of "Blizzard", Santa's most magical reindeer.
