Soul and Vibe's Timeless Gems Crosses 20,000 Downloads

Since It Launched Worldwide on Facebook and on Apple's App Store, Timeless Gems Is Showing Rapid Growth

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - Mar 17, 2014) - Soul and Vibe Interactive Inc. (OTCQB: SOUL), "The Company," a video, mobile, and computer games publisher, announced today that Timeless Gems has surpassed 20,000 downloads for its innovative "match-3" game.

Soul and Vibe launched Timeless Gems worldwide on Facebook on February 3, 2014. In a very short period of time, a little over a month, the game has generated a user base of over 10,000 on Facebook and has built a strong and engaged fan base. According to Facebook, the game has a "4.1 out of 5" star review ranking. Timeless Gems launched worldwide on Apple's App Store on March 12, 2014, less than one week ago, and has generated over 10,000 downloads.

According to an article by Big Fish Games, for the last few years, revenues from games have outpaced movie box office sales and the gaming industry is now threatening the entire TV and film industry. In the U.S., 72% of the population plays video games and 77% of gamers play at least one hour a week. In the UK the average gamer plays for almost 3 hours per day. The video game industry worldwide grew 9% in 2013 and now exceeds $76 billion with projections that it will surpass $86 billion by 2016. India has seen a 16% growth in the gaming industry since 2012 and the European market is almost $20 billion.

In 2013, gamers on Facebook surpassed the 250 million mark. Facebook gamers continue to grow and, according to Inside Social Games, "the social network says game installs on the web platform are up 75% from where they were in March 2012." In addition, "roughly 200 titles on Facebook have more than one million monthly active users apiece and roughly 100 developers generated more than $1 million on Facebook last year. Year-over-year growth of the total number of paying players has also increased by 24 percent from March 2012. Finally, more than $2 billion was paid out to game developers in 2012." Candy Crush, played by over 15.5 million people worldwide each day on Facebook, is currently the number one "match-3" game in the world. It generates annual revenues of approximately $481 million.
