SourceForge® Names Chris Dobbrow Vice President of Sales

Online Media Pro to Lead Sales Team at SourceForge

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - May 5, 2008) - SourceForge (NASDAQ: LNUX), the leader in IT community-driven media and e-commerce, today named Chris Dobbrow to the post of vice president of sales. Dobbrow will lead the sales effort for SourceForge's popular online media properties, including Slashdot,,, and

Dobbrow brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience in technology media to SourceForge, including over 16 years at Ziff Davis, where he served as executive and senior vice president overseeing PC Magazine, PC Computing, eWEEK, Corporate Sales and Integrated Media Solutions. Most recently Dobbrow was vice president of partnerships at BrightTALK, a rich media technology provider for audio and video webcasting and rich media distribution channels, where he was charged with building out partner platforms.
