SourceMedia Announces Appointments of Doug Manoni, Mike Dukmejian as Heads of Banking and Professional Services Divisions

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 17, 2008) - SourceMedia, publisher of American Banker, The Bond Buyer and Financial Planning, is pleased to announce the appointment of four new Executive Vice Presidents to lead its professional communities.

SourceMedia recently announced that it was organizing the brands that serve its Banking, Technology, Professional Services and Investment Advisor communities into four divisions. These divisions have been configured around professional communities which have similar needs and challenges in terms of the information and data solutions they require.

Doug Manoni has joined SourceMedia as an officer of the corporation and will serve as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the Banking Division, which includes the flagship American Banker, a suite of mortgage publications, Cards&Payments and the soon-to-be launched Also in this portfolio is the highly successful and groundbreaking US Banker's Most Powerful Women in Banking franchise. Manoni, who launched and built Wicks Business Information until it was sold to Summit Business Media earlier this year, has a 20-year background in information publishing, with extensive experience in online publishing and electronic databases.

Mike Dukmejian recently joined SourceMedia as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the Professional Services Division which includes Financial Planning, On Wall Street, Employee Benefits News and Accounting Today, amongst others. Mike was previously Group Publisher of The Fortune/Money Group and, where he was responsible for $250m in revenues and a staff of 75. Mike launched, Time Inc's leading advertising revenue web site. Previously in his career, he was publisher of Mutual Funds Magazine and Director of Sales Development for Sports Illustrated.

Rob Whitaker, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, is head of the Business Technology & Securities Division, which includes DM Review, Health Data Management and Traders magazine amongst others. Rob has been with SourceMedia for 12 years and has a wealth of experience growing and managing a variety of businesses across print, online and live events. Most recently, he was Group Publisher for the Investment Advisor Group including Financial Planning and On Wall Street, and has managed brands such as American Banker Online and Accounting Today. Rob also led the SourceMedia Events Division, which produces more than 80 conferences and events per year.

Mike Stanton, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, leads the Capital Markets Division, which comprises SourceMedia's other flagship title The Bond Buyer, Investment Dealers' Digest, Asset Securitization Report and Mergers & Acquisitions Journal. Mike has spent his entire professional career at SourceMedia starting as a reporter with The Bond Buyer in the New York bureau and also served in the Washington bureau. He later became Editor-in-Chief and managed The Bond Buyer's conference division. He was named Publisher in November 2005. He is the driving force behind this year's launch of SourceMedia's Rapidata, a high-speed newswire for algorithmic traders.
