South Africa Plans $2.3 Billion Rare Earths Value Added Project in Face of Global Supply Crunch, an Industrial Info News Alert

Rob Davies, the trade and industry minister has said that the proposed plant at Saldhana in the Western Cape province would produce high-value industrial metals including titanium, zirconium, hafnium and silicon which are essential to key industries including the electronics, nuclear and high tech alloys industries.
