South Arlington Chiropractic Center Launches New Educational Web Content

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - Nov 13, 2011) - Jacobs Chiropractic announced that the practice has launched a revamped website with new, informative content. The new content is designed to enhance patient communication and expand access to educational resources about natural pain management and sports injury treatments. Led by chiropractor Dr. Wendy Jacobs, the family chiropractic practice provides spinal adjustments, massage therapy, and physical therapy treatments to both children and adults, with a special focus on pain management and sports injuries.

South Arlington and Pentagon City chiropractor Dr. Wendy Jacobs announced that her practice, Jacobs Chiropractic, has launched a revamped website. The site features new content designed to better educate patients about the benefits of spinal adjustments and natural pain management.

"My goal is to help every patient achieve long-lasting relief from chronic pain," said Dr. Jacobs. "Many of my patients are unaware of the natural pain management benefits offered by spinal adjustments. The revamped site is a wonderful resource for learning more about these benefits, and how spinal adjustments can help the body heal following an injury."

The website features a new "Community Content" library with information on adjustments and the science behind whole body wellness. The articles explain how a misalignment in the spine, such as a herniated disc, can lead to chronic pain throughout the body. The library also helps educate patients about the effects of different injuries, such as whiplash.

The new 3-D Spine Simulator is an interactive, visual learning tool that helps patients see first-hand how a slipped disc can compress nearby nerves, causing a radiating pain sensation.

"The Spine Simulator is a wonderful opportunity for interactive learning," said Dr. Jacobs. "The ability to see exactly how the body is injured is a valuable tool that can really help patients understand what is causing their pain, and how spinal adjustments are an essential part of any successful treatment program."

In addition to adjustments, the practice also offers physical therapy and massage therapy. Information about these treatments, including therapeutic massage and deep tissue massage, is available on the website.

The South Arlington practice is located just 2.5 miles from the Pentagon and is close to many nearby military bases. As an Army veteran, Dr. Jacobs understands the challenges faced by many service members and their families.

"As a veteran and Army chiropractor, I understand that members of the military work their bodies extremely hard in order to perform at the highest level," said Dr. Jacobs. "Unfortunately, injuries sustained during service or training can lead to chronic pain. The revamped website contains information for military members about how adjustments can help relieve pain and ensure that they can continue actively serving our country, while reducing the risk of reoccurring injury."

Individuals who would like to learn more about treatments at the practice and natural pain management may visit the website Individuals may also sign up for the practice's award-winning e-newsletter, which features the latest wellness news and tips on avoiding injuries. The website also hosts a new chiropractic blog that will be updated regularly by the chiropractor.
