South River Technologies Releases WebDrive for Mac Version 3.63

New Version Adds Performance Enhancements and Advanced Features

ANNAPOLIS, MD--(Marketwired - Jun 24, 2014) - South River Technologies, Inc. (SRT), an innovator in secure file transfer, announced today the release of Version 3.63 of its popular WebDrive File Access Client for the Macintosh platform. WebDrive is a unique technology that enables users to access and to edit files in the cloud or on corporate servers as part of their local desktop.

Erasing the line between local and widely distributed remote files, WebDrive provides a unified interface to natively work with files and eliminate the cumbersome transferring and tracking involved in editing files in multiple remote systems.

To further enhance productivity, a new Support Diagnostics Wizard gives users an automated way to submit a support ticket directly from the user interface -- gathering pertinent system information and eliminating the need to provide technical details or to visit the online helpdesk.

WebDrive for Mac supports cloud services such as Google Drive, DropBox, and Amazon S3. This version provides support for Amazon S3 Virtual Hosting, an important feature for SRT's global customers. Amazon S3 Virtual Hosting offers international businesses a simpler way to access their S3 data.

"With our large base of international customers, we felt it was important to add support for S3 Virtual Hosting to enable WebDrive to access the global repository of S3 Regions and data," says Michael Ryan, CEO of South River Technologies.

An improved caching system in the new version enhances WebDrive for Mac's performance and speed.

The new version of WebDrive for Mac is available immediately at a price of $39 for a single license, and with larger corporate licenses available as low as $12 per seat.
