Southern California Auto Insurer Tops J.D. Power Claims Satisfaction Study

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 30, 2013) - The Auto Club of Southern California Insurance Group has been ranked highest in the national J.D. Power 2013 U.S. Auto Claims Satisfaction Study(SM), according to an announcement made today by the market research company. This is the first time the group has achieved the top ranking in the Auto Claims study.

The ranking is based on a study of nearly 12,000 auto insurance customers across all carriers who were asked to rate their primary insurance companies on six factors: first notice of loss, service interaction, appraisal, repair process, rental and claims settlement. The Auto Club of Southern California Insurance Group earned high rankings in all six areas, scoring a total of 889 points out of 1,000 possible points. The industry average score was 855.
