Southern Living® House Plans and Hanley Wood Announce New House Plans and Book Marketing Partnership

WASHINGTON, DC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 2, 2007 -- The two powerhouses of the house plans marketing business -- Hanley Wood and Southern Living® House Plans -- are joining to expand the availability of the premier house plans collection in the custom-home building industry with the first-ever collection of Southern Living branded house plans books.

Southern Living House Plans and Hanley Wood LLC have announced a new licensing and partnership agreement for the marketing of the Southern Living House Plans Collection, a portfolio of homes designed exclusively for the magazine. For the first time, the Southern Living House Plans Collection, will be marketed through books, and will be made available to custom-home building consumers and builders through bookstores, home centers and for direct purchase through the web.

For the past 20 years, Southern Living House Plans has commissioned the nation's leading residential designers and architects to create new, unique and exclusive house plans for Southern Living magazine as well as online. Southern Living House Plans publishes three additional publications devoted exclusively to the collection.

Now, Hanley Wood has licensed this powerful brand and house plan portfolio to add to its substantial plans business.
