Southern Trust Securities Announces Strategic Alliance

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - Apr 29, 2014) - Southern Trust Securities, Inc. (STS) (PINKSHEETS: SOHL), a financial services company offering broker-dealer, investment banking, investment advisory and wealth management services, announced today a Strategic Alliance with Global Strategic Investments, LLC (GSI), a broker-dealer, FINRA and SIPC member.

Specifically, STS and GSI will share GSI's trading facilities and platform for fixed income trading. Benefits will accrue to both entities from the initial transaction by reducing transaction costs and increasing volume. STS will have access to GSI's sophisticated international platform in which to better serve STS' offshore clients.

GSI will benefit from access to STS' products not currently offered by GSI's platform including, but not limited to municipal bonds, futures/commodities and precious metals as well as investment banking opportunities.
