Southridge Enterprises Retains Agri-Systems as Engineering Consulting Firm

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 11, 2006 -- Southridge Enterprises, Inc. (OTCBB: SORD) (the "Company") today announced that Southridge Ethanol, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, has selected Agri-Systems, a leading U.S. ethanol consulting and engineering firm, to provide engineering services to the Company as it expands its ethanol production capacity in Mississippi. Agri-Systems will significantly enhance the Company's deployment and integration of its recently acquired ethanol plant and facilities.

Mr. Alex Smid, President of Southridge Ethanol, Inc. stated that, "After a lengthy search process, we selected Agri-Systems to work with us as 'Owner's Engineer.'
