Southwestern Medical to Expand Market Share Through Retail Chains

TAMPA, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 7, 2006 -- Southwestern Medical Solutions, Inc. (OTC: SWNM) is pleased to announce that, following receipt of increased FDA compliance, it intends to broaden its marketing thrust to include retail chains in light of the ever increasing development of in-house DOA testing for job applicants at retail chains. This target market includes franchises of Home Improvement stores and other major US chains for which SWNM is proceeding to achieve over-the-counter ("OTC") status for its Labguard™.

Major Marketing Potential via Retail Chains

Including franchises of some of the largest retail chains in the USA, achievement by SWNM of OTC status will enable each facility the opportunity to test all applicants with a fully self contained customizable unit on-site that is most accurate, and which will yield results immediately. SWNM will offer the least expensive and most advanced pre-screening device which will put the control of the hiring process directly in the hands of the retailers.
