Space is in Simbioz at McCord Museum of Montreal

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - July 23, 2009) - The McCord Museum of Montreal purchased a second Simbioz FT-57 interactive system for their new exhibition eSpace to underline the 40th anniversary of man's first steps on the moon. The addition of a second "Touchless" interactive system will allow the visitor to visualize numerous pictures and videos coming directly from the Internet, with a simple hand gesture.

After a first successful launching...

In November, 2008, the McCord Museum purchased their first "Touchless" Interactive Unit from Simbioz for the exhibit dealing on the Air, the Sea and the Earth. This interactive content gives the visitor the possibility of exploring, discovering and manipulating, with a simple hand gesture, digitized 3D objects coming from the collection of the McCord museum. Operational as of eight months ago, more than 10 000 people of all ages interacted with the new multimedia tool.
