PC Magazine has recommended SPAMfighter Standard as one of the top free spam fitlers avialable on the market today.

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK--(Marketwire - June 16, 2008) - SPAMfighter standard was tested and reviewed by PC Magazine, who recommended SPAMfighter Standard as one of the top free spam filters available.

"We are proud that our product has been seen by others as we see it ourselves - a uniquely effective and easy way to filter spam through a community based approach. We are pleased with this review from PC Magazine" commented Henrik Sorensen, CEO of SPAMfighter.

PC Magazine took 12,000 messages and broke them up into 3 categories: spam, newsletters that may be considered spam, and valid e-mail. The review states that SPAMfighter Standard effectively filtered 97% of spam mails while maintaining a false positive rate of under 1%.

SPAMfighter Standard was chosen for this review based on the unique community based approach taken. SPAMfighter works by using a community of over 5 million users worldwide. If a spam mail slips past the spam filter, the message can be blocked and reported to the SPAMfighter server in one click.
