New Wine and Cheese Products Set to Hit Shelves, as Company Announces Agreements With Two of Largest Distributors in the Carolinas

COLUMBIA, SC--(Marketwire - October 16, 2008) - Spanish Vines, Inc., a growing Columbia, S.C.-based importer and provider of authentic Spanish wine and food products in the United States, today announced the launch of the new online community, designed to guide visitors on an interactive tour of Spanish wine, culture, history and travel.

The web portal creates a truly interactive community, including individual member profiles, a constantly changing travel guide and map of interesting cultural attractions and hidden gems, as well as a journal section covering different cultural themes, such as Spanish art, music and architecture, among others.

Separately, Spanish Vines announced new product distribution agreements with Mutual Distributing Company in North Carolina and Southern Wine & Spirits of South Carolina. The agreements, each with one of the largest beverage distributors in their respective states, will further expand the company's presence throughout the Carolinas.

The agreements come just as a series of new wine Spanish Vines wine products are scheduled for launch in November 2008. The "Cantar" Sauvignon Blanc~Macabeo, "Provocar" Shiraz, "Enamorarse" Tempranillo Selección and "Sentìr" Tempranillo Crianza wines, along with the previously announced "La Loca" Vino Espumoso, are designed to broaden the company's stable of products and build on the strong success of Spanish Vines first two award winning wines -- the 2006 Tempranillo red and 2006 Macabeo white. Also new for the fourth quarter of 2008, Spanish Vines will begin importing seven different types of free range, farmstead sheep's milk cheese, from the Spanish region of La Mancha, as early as December.

With a continued eye on both product line and geographic expansion, Spanish Vines will participate in the 7th Annual Miami International Wine Fair on October 25-27, 2008 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
