SPCA: The Paws for the Course Tournament for the Profit of the Animals

A Must for all Golf and Animal Lovers Alike

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 16, 2006) - The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty towards Animals (SPCA) will host the Paws for the Course Golf Tournament presented by Canine Royal on September 11th. All funds raised by this event will go towards financing the expansion of our inspection and prevention of animal cruelty programs. In the relaxed and cordial environment of the splendid Parcours du Cerf in Longueuil, participants are invited to join Mr. Jacques Demers, Sports Broadcaster and former trainer of the Montreal Canadiens.

Once Again the Artists of Quebec Will Mobilize Themselves for the SPCA

Throughout the day, the SPCA will offer its participants many pleasant surprises, which will culminate in a banquet and one-of-a-kind show by the actor and well-known comedian Mr. Gilles Latulippe. Among the many artists and public personalities present will be Suzanne Lapointe, Peter McLeod, Marielle Leveille, Erick Remy, Therese Parisian, Mehdi the Magician, and one special surprise guest: an animal lover with one of the most beautiful voices in Quebec. The banquet and show will be open to those who do not wish to participate in the day's tournament. All members of the general public are invited to attend and give a voice to those which cannot speak for themselves, while enjoying a fun time in the company of artists, humorists and well-known Quebec personalities.
