Speakerbus and VPI Strengthen Partnership With Successful Interoperability Certification of VPI EMPOWER Call Recording With Speakerbus' iTurret

The combined technology securely integrates communication processes and recording -- enhanced by the capture of expanded telephony data for improved searches and reports -- to help trading floors more effectively comply with regulations, resolve disputes and manage quality. The integration between VPI EMPOWER call recorder and Speakerbus' iTurret dealerboard has been tested and certified by Speakerbus' Technology Partner Program technical team and officially accepted as certified for use with Speakerbus' iTurret.

The iTurret dealerboad delivers a rich array of mission critical voice capabilities, is scalable, compliant and interoperates with a variety of unified communications technology applications.

During active call recording interaction, iTurrets pass audio to VPI EMPOWER in a live stream. iTurrets can be configured for a single-stream or dual audio forking for redundant recording. Speakerbus' call detail service sends recording start and stop events and passes data to VPI database. Rendezvous between the data from the call detail service and audio from iTurrets is automated in the VPI EMPOWER database.
