Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. Announces Appointment of New Officers

TORONTO, ON and PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwired - December 07, 2015) - Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (TSX: SEV) ("Spectra7" or the "Company"), today announced that it has appointed Mr. David Mier to the position of Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect in place of outgoing Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Robert Bosomworth. The Company also announces the appointment of Ms. Cynthia Cole to the position of Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Development.

Mr. Mier has over 25 years of experience as a finance professional with both public and private companies, including his position with Yahoo! as Vice President Finance, Americas Controller. Ms. Cole comes to Spectra7 with over 15 years of corporate, transactional and legal experience, having held senior legal positions with companies in the United States and Europe.

The Company also announced the appointment of Ron Pasek as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Pasek replaces Roger Maggs, who will remain on the Board and who has served as the Chairman since the completion of the Company's qualifying transaction in 2013.
