Today Spectralink Corporation ("Spectralink"), a global leader in wireless solutions for the workplace, announced that its portfolio of 84-Series Wi-Fi Telephones will be sold through Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communication software and services, through the Avaya DevConnect Select Product Program.
The Select Product Program offers customers a streamlined way to order Avaya-compatible, third-party solutions chosen for the powerful capabilities they bring to Avaya's portfolio.
The Spectralink 84-Series Wi-Fi telephones offered through the program have been compliance-tested for compatibility with Avaya Aura® Communication Manager, Avaya IP Office and Avaya Communications Server 1000. By integrating with an Avaya platform, it makes it easy for companies to improve productivity and responsiveness for on-site mobile professionals across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, retail, and manufacturing.
Built on open standards, the Spectralink 84-Series voice over Wi-Fi handsets transform the delivery of mobile enterprise applications by bringing the power of thin client and browser technology to front-line professionals in an easy-to-use and easy-to-manage interface. Additionally, the Spectralink 84-Series supports a broad range of interfaces to wireless LANs, and multiple enterprise applications in order to deliver maximum interoperability and one of the lowest overall costs of ownership in the industry.
As part of Avaya's orderable solution set, Spectralink solutions can be easily purchased through both Avaya and its channel partners. Customers can add specific capabilities to their existing Avaya platform or can source a complete Avaya-based communications solution that incorporates Spectralink 84-Series wireless telephones.
Spectralink and other companies participating in the Select Product Program are Technology Partners in the Avaya DevConnect Program -- an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company's investment in its network.
Streamlined ordering through the Select Product Program is available in the U.S., Canada, European Union, Norway and Switzerland, and is expected to expand to other countries in 2014. Offers may vary by country. Delivery, implementation, service and support are provided by Select Product Program companies.
