Spectrum Gaming Group to Sponsor NCLGS Winter Conference, January 9-11, 2015

LINWOOD, NJ--(Marketwired - Dec 22, 2014) - Spectrum Gaming Group, the world's foremost gaming-specific research and professional services firm, will again serve as a sponsor of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) Winter Conference, January 9-11, 2015, at Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

NCLGS is the only organization of state lawmakers that meets on a regular basis to discuss issues in regard to gaming. Members of NCLGS chair or are members of committees responsible for the regulation of gaming in their state legislative houses. NCLGS does not promote or oppose gaming but is primarily concerned with the proper regulation of the industry.

NCLGS is a proactive participant in educating legislators on gaming issues, in the development of public policy related to state-authorized gaming, and, where consensus exists, in representing the states before Congress and the executive branch of the federal government on states' rights issues relating to gaming. NCLGS meetings provide information on cutting edge gaming issues that legislators need to know. Its programs include balanced panel presentations that offer opposing views.

For the second consecutive year, Spectrum will sponsor the NCLGS Opening Reception on January 9. Additionally, Michael Pollock, Spectrum managing director, will be speaking to the NCLGS committees on several topics including Lottery Internet Gaming Initiatives; State and Federal Casino Regulations; and Casino Market Saturation.

"NCLGS is an extraordinary organization of lawmakers and others who care deeply about the future of their states, and its conferences are the perfect forum for serious discussion of many issues that are critical to the future of gaming," Pollock stated. "Spectrum is proud to play a role in these forums, and in helping NCLGS advance its agenda."

Pollock and other Spectrum representatives will be meeting with current and prospective clients throughout the three-day event. Those wishing to schedule meetings should contact them directly at pollock@spectrumgaming.com.
