SPi Healthcare Appoints Mr. Steve Mandell as Vice President of Business Development

NASHVILLE, TN--(Marketwire - September 3, 2009) - SPi Healthcare, a leading provider of medical transcription services, announced today the appointment of Mr. Steve Mandell as the Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Mandell brings to SPi over twenty years of experience in the healthcare information industry and has held various senior level leadership and consulting positions during the last ten years, including being one of the founders and CEO for Heartland Information Services. In this newly created role, Mr. Mandell will be responsible for creating opportunities to expand SPi's transcription services footprint with national health systems and integrated delivery networks (IDNs). He will also be focusing on various development initiatives related to SPi's transcription services.
