SPi Strengthens Management Team

Appoints New Senior Vice President and Global Account Manager to Head Publishing Sales Team

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - December 17, 2007) - SPi, a leading global knowledge process and customer interaction solutions provider, today announced the appointment of William Schieffelin as the company's senior vice president of sales and global account management for its Publishing vertical.

Mr. Schieffelin brings with him over 20 years of extensive experience in international sales, management, strategic customer relationship and matrix-based solution sales management. His background includes domestic and international business development in cultivating and negotiating complex multi-million dollar deals, joint ventures, partnerships, and high value customer service/support programs.

Commenting on the announcement, Peter Maquera, president and chief executive officer of SPi, said, "I am pleased to welcome Bill on board as a Global Account Manager and to spearhead our sales initiatives in our publishing group. His broad industry experience and track record is a real asset to SPi. His addition to our growing list of industry experts will help ensure our success as we continue to maintain and grow SPi as one of the leaders in the publishing industry."

In his new role, Mr. Schieffelin will lead SPi's Publishing and Enterprise sales teams, and he will be responsible for growing business in both SPi's current target markets as well as in new markets. Bill has also been charged with building and maintaining strategic partnerships with some of SPi's key clients -- essentially providing a high-level, commercially-oriented, single point of contact with SPi's large, multi-million dollar clients.

"By having Senior Managers with domain expertise work with our key clients ensures that we can fully meet and understand their business needs and as a result better respond to these needs by developing and providing the right solutions," adds Mr. Maquera.

Prior to his appointment at SPi, Schieffelin held various senior management positions with the Thomson Corporation and Innodata-Isogen. Mr. Schieffelin also worked with the US District Court, Western District of Texas and practiced law with Simons, Cunningham, Coleman and Schieffelin.
