Spindle Announces Partnership With Integrated Payments

Agreement Will Allow Integrated Payments to Package Spindle's Scalable Mobile Commerce Technologies With ZingCheckout to Accept Frictionless Payment Transactions

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - Dec 3, 2012) -   Spindle, Inc. (OTCBB: SPDL), a leading provider of mobile payments solutions, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Integrated Payments, a distributor of point of sale (POS) and mobile commerce technologies to merchants. Through this agreement, Integrated Payments will bundle Spindle's mobile commerce platform with solutions distributed through Integrated Payments, giving merchants across the United States the ability to accept mobile payments at their locations. ZingCheckout's POS technologies will be the first to accept Spindle-enabled mobile payment transactions at the Point of Sale.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Integrated Payments maintains relationships with a sizable network of both ISOs (Independent Sales Organizations) and point-of-sale vendors. As part of this new relationship, Spindle has become a preferred provider of mobile commerce technologies to Integrated Payments and will have its platform integrated with Austin-based ZingCheckout, a partner of Integrated Payments. "We're delighted to join forces with Integrated Payments, which we anticipate will drive mobile payment integration among the company's POS partners," said Bill Clark, President at Spindle. "Although many POS providers have mobile wallet technologies in use, very few have an application that works directly within the point of sale infrastructure. Our strategy has been to create a technology that empowers the merchant to utilize existing POS infrastructure to accept mobile payments. The partnership with Integrated Payments and ZingCheckout will allow us to do just that."

"Spindle's formidable mobile commerce platform fills a long-standing void in the industry by allowing POS providers to seamlessly incorporate mobile payments right at the site of the transaction," said Keri Golden, President, Integrated Payments. "We're impressed with the functionality that Spindle's solution delivers, which is paving the way for consumers to use their mobile phones as an electronic wallet by creating the platform for frictionless payment acceptance."

ZingCheckout Inc., provides web-based (SaaS) retail software. Their Point of Sale technology can be used on all major Microsoft Windows or Apple OSX platforms by merchants needing a quick, easy and scalable mobile POS solution including full support for Apple's iPad. Through its partnership with Spindle, ZingCheckout will be able to incorporate mobile POS services into its product portfolio, enabling merchants to seamlessly expand into accepting frictionless payment transactions.

"Spindle's mobile commerce platform is a perfect complement to our POS software and go-to-market strategy," said Nate Stewart of ZingCheckout. "As a result of collaborating with Spindle, we can easily board and support merchants that are looking to accept card-based payments on premises and in the field through smartphones and tablets. Additionally, it enables us to extend our offering to our reseller networks with another innovative technology. This approach gives our customers a reliable, seamless and uniformed payment processing experience, regardless of endpoint."
