Spindle Signs Partnership With Clear2there to Deliver Merchant Services Solutions to Telecommunications Providers

Arrangement Enables Telcos to Provide Yowza!! POS and Yowza!! Offers Merchant Solutions to Businesses; Spindle Channel Partners Can Also Offer Clear2there Video Surveillance and Smart-Business Solutions to Merchants

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwired - December 11, 2014) - Spindle, Inc. (OTCQB: SPDL), a leading provider of mobile commerce solutions, announced that it signed an agreement with Clear2there, a provider of advanced video surveillance, smart-home, smart-business, smart-farm applications, and M2M solutions for service providers and enterprises, to offer its Yowza!! POS point-of-sale and Yowza!! Offers mobile marketing solutions to Clear2there's national network of communications service providers. Through this arrangement, Clear2there's network of nearly 140 regional telephone companies and service providers can offer a comprehensive off-the-shelf POS solution that includes secure payment acceptance hardware and software, processing services, location-based mobile marketing, and data analytics to local businesses. In addition, Spindle channel partners can now provide Clear2there's advanced video surveillance and remote business monitoring and management applications to their merchants, giving businesses access to a suite of powerful cloud-based management tools.

"The relationship with Clear2there will result in tremendous opportunities for each company, as well as our respective channels and customers," said Bill Clark, Spindle's chief executive officer. "Both Spindle and Clear2there have successfully delivered innovative cloud-based technologies that have been proven to address critical business needs. Our decision to partner means that our sales channels can now offer a more complementary and complete suite of services that will achieve stronger revenues, greater retention, and a much higher level of merchant satisfaction."

According to Clark, a number of industry dynamics, such as the expected implementation of new EMV (Eurocard, Visa, MasterCard) security protocols, will mean that Clear2there channels will have an immediate need to assist merchants in complying with EMV mandates.

"Recent data suggests that as many as 10 million merchants will need to update their payment infrastructure to meet the EMV requirements," said Clark. "This represents an exciting opportunity for Clear2there's channel partners, who already have longstanding relationships with merchants in their respective regions. In addition, these providers possess the technical skills needed to architect and install a comprehensive merchant services solution. This will allow merchants to comply with EMV, and also gives them the ability to leverage advanced services like mobile marketing and analytics in a very cost-efficient manner. By delivering this complete suite of services, Clear2there's partners can offer these new high-margin services bundled with other communications services, as well as provide installation and ongoing support."

Headquartered in Oklahoma City, Clear2there is recognized as the leading provider of smart-home, -business, -farm, and elder-care solutions for a range of service providers that includes local telephone companies, utilities, mobile operators, and broadband providers. Through its Viewbiquity Cloud Application Server (VCAS) cloud-based delivery platform, Clear2there empowers partners to offer a full suite of solutions that includes process automation, remote monitoring and access control, thermostat and lighting management, water detection and event-driven alerts and notifications through the existing network infrastructure. Users can then monitor and manage each premise through any smartphone, tablet or Internet-connected device.

"Our partners are always looking to offer a wider range of services to their business customers. This arrangement with Spindle, will allow them to expand beyond conventional IT and communications services by delivering a range of business services that complements their current solutions," noted Craig Steen, president and chief executive officer of Clear2there. "Just as importantly, we expect that Spindle's channels will also find great value in offering Clear2there's suite of video surveillance and smart-business services to their merchants. These offerings are an attractive enhancement to the traditional merchant services that are routinely offered to businesses, and will give Spindle's partners a powerful and affordable way to distinguish themselves in a fast moving market."
