BOARD CHANGE
London, UK - 8 March 2007 - Spirent Communications plc (LSE: SPT; NYSE: SPM), a
leading communications technology company, announces that Anders Gustafsson has
left the Company with immediate effect in order to pursue other opportunities.
Edward Bramson, Chairman, will become Executive Chairman. In this role he will
co-ordinate the Board's operating and strategic review announced on 1 March 2007
and implement any actions resulting from it. Spirent expects to announce the
results of the review in advance of the Company's scheduled AGM on 9th May.
