Splashlight Expands Executive Suite With Two Key Appointments

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - June 14, 2016) - Splashlight, a leading visual content creation company for e-commerce, announced today that it has appointed Gilles Rousseau to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Chris Smart to Senior Vice President of Operations, effective immediately.

In his new role, Rousseau is tasked with creating and growing relationships with brands and retailers and their respective creative/production teams. He will also head up all aspects of the company's messaging and market positioning efforts.

Prior to Splashlight, Rousseau was Chief Sales Officer at The Digital Marvels Inc. He previously served as Senior Vice President and International Marketing Director of Jewelry at Christie's International. Rousseau has held senior marketing positions at a number of venerable brands, including Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton (LVMH) and Van Cleef & Arpels.

Splashlight has also brought on board business, technology and operational specialist Chris Smart, who serves as the company's Senior Vice President of Operations. He is responsible for overseeing all of Splashlight's daily operations, as well as for driving the company's international expansion.

Prior to joining Splashlight, Smart served as Vice President of Global Digital Operations at Ralph Lauren where he was responsible for all aspects of the global omni-channel catalogue. He has more than two decades experience working at National Westminster Banking Group in both the aerospace finance and technology sectors.
