Splunk Opens Bethesda, Md. Office to Better Serve Federal Government Customers

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 7, 2011) - Splunk Inc., the leading provider of software that provides real-time operational intelligence, today announced the expansion of the company's Washington, D.C. Metro presence with a new office located at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, Md. This is Splunk's fifth office in the U.S. The 10,000-square foot office will enable Splunk to continue to support existing government customers in their efforts to comply with evolving federal standards and marks the growth of the company's footprint in the federal market.

Next month, Splunk will open the Splunk Center of Excellence at the Bethesda office, a hands-on cybersecurity and analytics lab that will also feature a training center. The Splunk Center of Excellence will serve as the foundation for Splunk's federal government business practice.
