Sportball™ Quebec to Partner With Club des petits dejeuners du Quebec

BROSSARD, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 18, 2011) - Sportball™ the popular educationally-based sports program recently launched in Quebec, is pleased to announce that effective April 1st, 2011, it will partner with the Club des petits déjeuners du Québec.

"We wanted to give back to the community, and looking at the Mission of the Club, we felt that they are doing some very good things for the children that we work with every day," says Brian Jeffers, President of the EB3 Group, the Master Franchisee for Sportball in Quebec. "We will donate a portion of every registration received at Sportball Quebec, and know that we will be contributing to the development of the youth of our province".

"We are very pleased to have Sportball Québec join us as a partner," says Francyne Charette, General Manager of the Club des petits déjeuners du Québec. "Sportball's non-competitive fitness and fun program, with its objective of making a difference in the lives of children, is very complementary to our Mission of working hard to ensure that every child receives two elements required for learning: a nutritious breakfast and a nourishing environment."

Developed for kids from 16 months to 12 years of age, Sportball™ is now providing classes in Montreal, Saint-Lambert, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Repentigny, Beaconsfield, Kirkland, Pincourt, Saint-Laurent, Candiac.

The Sportball™ program and methodology were developed in 1995 by Mark and Carmella Gelgor, and provide children from 16 months to 12 years with the opportunity to develop fundamental social and athletic skills. The curriculum is professionally delivered in a non-competitive manner, and is age and skills appropriate. Sportball's certified coaches help children to improve balance, strength, co-ordination, stamina and timing as well as concentration, listening skills, co-operation and self-confidence- all in a fun and supportive environment.

Sportball™ promotes fitness, activity and fun through sport, using eight different sports as a platform—hockey, soccer, baseball, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis and golf.

With a corporate centre located in Toronto, and close to 300 program locations across Canada and in Texas, Arizona, California and New York, Sportball™ provides coaching instruction to thousands of children each week.
