Sports Psychologist Discusses Ultra Runner's 25,000 Mile World Run in New Web Video Released for Upcoming Running Movie

In the video, Dr. Granat, whose expertise has been featured on ABC's "Good Morning America" and "ESPN Magazine," describes Serge as a unique athlete and person. "People who can run the world are very unique. They are not common, or ordinary. They have a psychological and mental toughness that some people could never even develop," Dr. Granat said.

According to Serge, if everything was impossible, then why try anything new? "If one day a guy tried to run around the world, and everyone told him it was impossible, because he will hurt his knees, ankle, back, wife, and spirit, then it will stay impossible. But, one morning I woke up and ran around the world. We succeed and now everyone knows that it's possible," Serge said.

"Beyond the Epic Run" is a feature length documentary reality film about a Swiss couple who live their dream to run around the world.
