EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 13, 2010) - This will be one exciting season for Sportsworld Roller Skating Disco. Sportsworld has been located at 13710-104st for the past 6 and half years. Being Edmonton's best spot for Birthday parties for all ages, youth group, staff parties and the birth of Roller Derby in Edmonton. However, this season is not be only going to be a busy one but the Director of Operations will be leaving and venturing onto a new chapter in life.

 Amith Pratap regrets to inform his resignation as Director of Operations for Sportsworld Inline and Roller skating disco. Amith brought this Great City of Edmonton its roller skating rink. Opening the doors December 12 2003 and having a successful operation for almost 7 years he will be moving on to another chapter of his life. It has been a great journey for him giving this city a part of its history. Creating something so unique that has been shared by so many wonderful people. He will cherish the many great friendships and memories that have been created. He thanks all the people who have contributed to making and keeping his dream alive. He invites everyone to join him as he will be the resident DJ every Friday Night 7pm-10:30pm starting in September for the duration of his term. Doing what started him off in the industry and inspired him to open this facility in Edmonton. He not only invites you to the general public sessions but all the special ones such as this upcoming Friday night for Sportsworld's Season Kick Off party Sept.17 from 7pm-10:30pm! Other special events would include the 7th anniversary, New Years Eve, and his final weekend Friday June 24, 25 and his final day Thursday June 30,7pm-10:30pm. He is looking forward to sharing his remaining term with all the great people present and past and hopes everyone can join him and make it a memorable season.
