Spring Inspired Cocktails Are in Full Bloom

Hood River Distillers Says Goodbye to the Winter Blues With Spring Cocktails

HOOD RIVER, OR--(Marketwire - May 10, 2011) - According to Hood River Distillers, the largest and oldest liquor producer in the Pacific Northwest, there's no better way to ring in spring than with colorful and seasonally inspired cocktails. With spring in full swing, Hood River Distillers and local Portland bar and restaurant Jimmy Mak's share their favorite spring cocktail concoctions.

"As fresh fruits and vibrant vegetables begin to ripen, spring cocktails are a great way to celebrate the new season," said Tia Bledsoe, director of marketing of Hood River Distillers. "Spring-themed cocktails are much lighter and fresher and certainly pair well with spring holiday fare and gatherings."

Hood River Distillers partnered with Jimmy Mak's and created three spring-themed cocktail recipes, which will surely welcome the warm weather. Featuring spirits such as Pendleton Whisky, Yazi Ginger Vodka and Broker's Gin, each of these drinks brings thoughts of sunny days to the mind.
