Spring Partnership Grows for the Good of Calgarians in Need

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - May 5, 2014) - Scotts Canada Ltd. is pleased to partner with the Calgary Food Bank to distribute Scotts' Gro for Good Lettuce Growing Kits to clients and member agencies. The seed kit, the brainchild of Scotts' Gro for Good team, helps equip food bank clients with the supplies and knowledge to grow some of their own vegetables this summer. "We are excited to be partnering with Calgary Food Bank this year. We were thrilled with the success of our tomato plant and lettuce kit programs over the past 3 years. Recognizing how well received these kits were, we decided to expand our Gro for Good food bank program, and this year have introduced the program for Calgarians," says Kimberly Draper, Regional Sales Manager, Scotts Canada Ltd. "We hope our donation will help promote the values of healthy and sustainable food among food bank clients."
