Springboard Biodiesel, LLC Announces Acquisition of BioPro Biodiesel Processor Business From AGR, LLC

CHICO, CA--(Marketwire - May 1, 2008) - Springboard Biodiesel, LLC, a newly formed, privately held company focused on the consumer and small business biodiesel processor market, announced today that it has acquired the BioPro family of automated biodiesel processors and accessories from AGR, LLC. Springboard Biodiesel will now be the sole manufacturer of the entire BioPro product line and, in conjunction with its existing U.S. and international network of dealers, will continue the sale, distribution and warranty support of all BioPro products.

"We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to further build upon the success that AGR has demonstrated with its family of high quality, fully-automated BioPro processors. Given the economic and environmental benefits of biodiesel fuels and the superior price/performance demonstrated by the BioPro product family, we believe there is significant headroom for this business," noted Mark Roberts, CEO of Springboard Biodiesel, LLC.

The BioPro 150, BioPro 190 and BioPro 380 offer consumers, co-ops, small businesses and farmers the ability to easily and repeatably produce ASTM D6751 quality biodiesel in batch amounts of 40 - 100 gallons for approximately $1.25/gallon. The market reception for these highly automated, industrial grade processors has been strong, and as a result, the product line has experienced record demand over the past twelve months, both domestically and internationally.

"My partners and I are confident that Springboard's management team brings the energy, strategic vision and financial resources necessary to continue to successfully grow the BioPro product line and take it to the next level," said Galen Bowen, CEO of AGR, LLC and co-developer of the patent-pending BioPro product line.

Graydon Blair, the founder of Utah Biodiesel Supply, and a noted spokesman for the Biodiesel Industry via his regular participation in forums, blogs, conferences and workshops, noted, "The BioPro is really the high quality workhorse in the personal and small business biodiesel processor market, and I am excited about the ability Springboard Biodiesel has to greatly expand the market."

Mr. Roberts further commented, "I believe that the successful expansion of the personal biodiesel processor market represents a significant step on the road to establishing a viable portfolio -- today -- of renewable energy resources that will help mitigate our continued reliance on non-sustainable, non-renewable fuels. Springboard Biodiesel with its BioPro product family is focused on proliferating affordable, renewable biodiesel solutions that are economically and environmentally attractive to consumers, small businesses and municipalities. Because the majority of our customers are using non-food sources and existing waste streams as feedstock, the BioPro processors are at the forefront of renewable sustainability, today, and are providing our customers with real economic benefits, today."
