SpringCM Announces Resume Management Solution for Government Contractors

New Application Leverages Advanced Functionality of the SpringCM Platform to Improve Resume Currency and Search Accuracy; Thereby Reducing Revenue Leakage

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - September 22, 2009) - SpringCM announced today that it has released the first resume management application to address the specific needs of government contractors to accurately identify resources for opportunities and make confident bid/no-bid decisions thereby reducing revenue leakage. Unlike solutions that primarily address personnel recruiting and on-boarding, SpringCM's solution ensures that business development and proposal managers bidding on Government contracts have accurate and current resumes, match appropriate resources to opportunities based on skills or experience, and can develop proposal-specific resumes to maximize win rates. The Resume Management Solution will be offered by SpringCM's Government Solutions Division (GSD) based in Sterling VA.

According to Matthew Wilmoth, Vice President of Tenacity Solutions, "Our success depends on how efficiently we staff our projects. When we compete for new business, customers evaluate the credentials of our company and our staff. Often, resumes are the most important factor in their source selection decisions. The SpringCM Resume Management solution helps us search our recruit and employee resumes, quickly locating the ideal resources for each opportunity, maintaining master resumes as well as specialized versions tailored to specific opportunities, and enabling self-service and workflow to automate resume updates and candidate searches. We expect to capture more business opportunities with the SpringCM Resume Management solution and as a result, increase our revenue."

The SpringCM solution helps government contractors address these issues by providing:

-- A centralized resume repository that enables cross-organizational
visibility into skills availability to maximize utilization of resources
    and make optimal bid decisions.
-- Flexible, powerful search, combining structured data and full-text
search technologies that enables precise identification of candidates
saving time and helping ensure accurate bids and audit compliance.
-- A flexible and streamlined approach to enable easy resume updates by
employees ensuring resume currency and reducing revenue leakage. Standard
reports identify resumes that have not been updated, allowing for exception
    management.
-- The ability to quickly develop, store and search proposal and task-
order specific resume versions, plus the ability to store and search these
proposal-specific résumés through an automated mechanism that reduces
    customization times and eliminates errors.
-- The ability to maintain artifacts and versions of resumes, saving time
    and reducing redundant customization.

"More than ever, government contractors are seeing business opportunities where specialized skills are needed and in great demand with government agencies," said Steve Maier, VP and GM of the Government Solutions Division of SpringCM. "The SpringCM Resume Management solution will eliminate the cumbersome process involved in searching through mountains of resumes by precisely identifying the candidates, employees or not, with the right skills for each business opportunity. The ability to catalog, search and re-use customized résumés will further enhance the productivity and competitiveness of our customers when bidding on key Government proposals and task orders."

"SpringCM, with our Privia Solution, is already the leader in Bid and Proposal Management software for Government Contractors," said Dan Carmel, CEO of SpringCM. "Resume Management, which has been developed based on customer feedback, is a great example of how the SpringCM platform's broad capabilities can be used to develop complex content applications that impact key business processes. The addition of the Resume Management solution to our portfolio extends our ability to serve to serve the contract lifecycle management needs of Government contractors of all sizes."
