Squires Appointed to New Parsons Post; Robbins Named Successor

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - December 21, 2010) -  Parsons today announced that Major General (USAF Ret.) Earnest O. (Earnie) Robbins II has been appointed President, Parsons MENA+ (Middle East, North Africa, and the northern Mediterranean Sea border countries). General Robbins will succeed Jeffrey F. Squires who served as the founding President of the MENA+ region. Mr. Squires will be taking on a new assignment reporting to the Group Executive for Strategy/Development.

Mr. Squires joined Parsons in 2005 and has since held a succession of positions throughout the corporation. In his new assignment, Mr. Squires will be tasked with furthering the development of Parsons' domestic regional manager positions and assisting with enhancing the corporation's business development processes.

General Robbins joined Parsons in 2003 upon retirement from 34 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. His last military assignment was as the Air Force Civil Engineer, Headquarters U.S. Air Force at the Pentagon. He has since held a succession of positions throughout the corporation. His most recent position was Executive Vice President and Director of Operations Shared Services. In this capacity, he created an operations department that strategically integrates several operations/managed functions within two of Parsons' global business units, including contracts and procurement, project controls, quality assurance, and safety. In his new role, General Robbins will be responsible for providing overall leadership, driving all business development opportunities, expanding the sales team, and promoting Parsons' core values and strategic objectives in the MENA+ region.

General Robbins holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky and a master's degree in engineering from Arizona State University. He will be based in Parsons' regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
