SRA Announces Board Appointment

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 18, 2008) - Strategic Resource Acquisition Corporation ("SRA" or the "Company") (TSX:SRZ)(TSX:SRZ.NT)(TSX:SRZ.NT.A) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald P. Gagel, C.A. to the Board of Directors of the Company.

Mr. Gagel is currently Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of FNX Mining Company Inc. in Toronto. A chartered accountant with more than 25 years of professional experience predominantly in the natural resource sector, Mr. Gagel serves on the boards of HudBay Minerals Inc. and Central Sun Mining Inc. (formerly Glencairn Gold Corp.) as well as the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.

Mr. Gagel's appointment is coincident with the previously announced purchase of SRA's common shares by FNX Mining Company Inc. He will be granted 70,000 options in SRA at an exercise price of $2.70 per share for a period of five years.

The MTM mining and milling complex is located approximately 80 kms east of Nashville with excellent infrastructure including roads, water, power, major airport and access to a well-trained workforce. MTM will produce one of the highest quality zinc concentrates in the world and efforts are underway to establish recovery methods for the valuable germanium and gallium contained in the concentrate. Once in full production, the Gordonsville Complex at MTM is expected to be the largest zinc producer and domestic source of germanium and gallium in the continental USA.
