SRA Director W. Shaver Resigns to Join DMC Mining Services Division of FNX

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 17, 2008) - Strategic Resource Acquisition Corporation ("SRA") (TSX:SRZ)(TSX:SRZ.NT)(TSX:SRZ.NT.A)announced today that Mr. William M. Shaver has resigned as a Director of the Company. Mr. Shaver, former Vice-Chairman of SRA, advised the Company of his appointment as President of DMC Mining Services (formerly Dynatec Mining Services), a wholly owned division of FNX Mining Company Inc. and operator of SRA's Mid-Tennessee zinc mines.
