SSA Global Named to 2005 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 Annual Listing; Magazine Honors Company's Successful Warehouse Management Implementation for Averitt Express

CHICAGO--(CCNMatthews - Jul 26, 2005) -

SSA Global™(NASDAQ:SSAG), a leading global provider of extended enterprise solutions and services, has been named to the fourth annual Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 list from Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. This marks the second consecutive year SSA Global is featured as a top '100' supply chain solution provider leading the transformation of companies' supply and demand chains.

Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine chose SSA Global as a top '100' provider because of its successful SSA Warehouse Management implementation for Averitt Express. Tennessee-based Averitt is an asset based Transportation and 3PL Solutions provider.

When Averitt Express first engaged SSA Global, the company needed a solution that supported warehousing processes for varying industries, enhanced customer service levels, enabled more value-added kitting services, and improved order fulfillment. SSA Warehouse Management proved to be the solution that supported Averitt's traditional and high-volume, complex, fulfillment operations from order inception to order shipment. In addition to immediately increasing customer satisfaction levels, this implementation established end-to-end logistics provider status for the company.

SSA Global completed the Warehouse Management implementation in a short time frame and Averitt Express will see payback spread over two years.

"We are honored to once again receive this recognition from Supply & Demand Chain Executive," said Jim Handy, president, Strategic Solutions. "SSA Global Supply Chain Management solutions cater to the demand-driven supply network that companies such as Averitt Express operate today. Our warehouse management product helps our customers synchronize cycles of demand, supply, and product, and ultimately extend their enterprise."

SSA Global's recognition appears as part of the June/July 2005 Supply & Demand Chain Executive cover story, as well as online at
