St. Claire Regional Medical Center Purchases MediSolution's Laboratory Information System to Increase Operational Efficiency

MONTREAL, QUEBEC AND PHOENIX, ARIZONA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 9, 2005) - MediSolution Ltd. (TSX:MSH), announced today that St Claire Medical Center has signed an agreement, valued at approximately $300,000 US, to purchase MediLab®, an automated laboratory information system that increases the operational efficiency and enhances results reporting for clinical laboratories. St. Claire, a not-for-profit healthcare organization in Morehead Kentucky, will deploy several MediLab modules to automate numerous functions, ranging from initial laboratory requests, to the integration of point of care testing, to the production and communication of web enabled final test results.

"The selection of MediLab came after an extensive evaluation process. St Claire's immediate need was to replace the anatomic pathology system being sunset by our current vendor. During the evaluation it became clear that it made sense for our organization to implement the entire MediLab solution", said Charlotte Lewis, administrative director of Diagnostic Services.

St Claire Regional Medical Center, a 159-bed hospital is replacing its existing Cerner Citation system with the MediLab solution. The system will be completely integrated into their healthcare information system and implementation is scheduled to begin immediately. The revenue on this contract will be recognized as the product is being implemented over the next twelve months.

"This new lab system will not only improve the laboratory organization and workflow at St. Claire Medical Center, it will provide world class reliability. We are pleased to have St Claire Medical join our growing base of customers in the US" said Paul Lepage, executive vice president and chief operating officer at MediSolution Ltd.
