St. Louis Attorney Chris Quinn Joins the Driscoll Firm

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwire - Aug 28, 2012) -  Following six years with the Missouri Attorney General's office, St. Louis attorney Chris Quinn joins John Driscoll at The Driscoll Firm, P.C. Mr. Quinn will represent private parties in pharmaceutical, medical device and other product liability litigation, class action lawsuits, and medical negligence matters. He studied law at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where he served as a contributing member of the University's flagship legal publication, the Law Quarterly.  Immediately after graduation in 1993, Quinn began his practice representing plaintiffs in personal injury, medical negligence, and product liability lawsuits. Additionally, Mr. Quinn worked in the information technology field before joining the office of the Attorney General in 2006.

Mr. Quinn successfully argued a number of high profile cases while serving in the Attorney General's Office, including one referred to in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as "one of the largest and most complex trials ever in the state." In that case, Quinn was a member of the trial team that successfully defended a constitutional challenge to Missouri's public school funding system in a trial that spanned more than seven weeks.

During a nearly month-long 2010 trial alleging that state officials engaged in conspiracy and harassment against a religious boarding school that had been raided in 2001 to intervene in alleged child abuse, Quinn was able to persuade a federal court jury that the state officials had acted in the genuine interests of the children involved and therefore no violations had occurred.
