St. Petersburg Native Ephraim M. Sykes Stars in Independent Film Leave It On The Floor

ST. PETERSBURG, FL--(Marketwire - Jun 17, 2011) - Actor, singer, musician and dancer Ephraim M. Sykes makes his film lead debut in independent film Leave It On The Floor this weekend at LA Film Festival.

Ephraim M. Sykes, son of The NAACP St. Petersburg branch president Manuel Sykes, plays a troubled homeless hero in Sheldon Larry's latest film Leave It On The Floor.

The young performer of stage, television and film is an original cast member of Tony Award winning musical "Memphis," he has performed in the UK with pop star Cheryl Cole on X Factor, alongside Sherri Shepherd in 30 Rock and before President Barack Obama at The 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors.

Leave It On The Floor is director Sheldon Larry's audacious, raunchy and big-hearted musical that includes Sykes' vocals on the soundtrack with songs by Beyoncé's music director Kim Burse and choreography by Beyoncé's dance master Frank Gatson Jr. takes audience into the fabulously funky world of voguing Saturday June 18, 2011.
