LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - March 31, 2014) - Stafford + Mathis Kitchen makes its grand debut in Downtown Los Angeles, bringing creative, innovative cuisine to Downtown LA's emerging culinary scene. Featuring dual menus, Stafford + Mathis Kitchen's concept reflects the epitome of one's dual personalities, offering menu items that leave adventurous diners speechless while still thrilling those with a more traditional palate.
For the more reserved culinary personality, the Stafford menu features classically-inspired dishes prepared using more traditional techniques. Items include a salad of heirloom vegetables, pomegranate seeds and a white truffle vinaigrette, mussels prepared with shallots and garlic and a pasta dish featuring linguini and clams in a white wine sauce. Diners seeking a more adventurous experience may enjoy the Mathis menu, which boasts dishes featuring bolder flavors and creative gastronomy including items such as octopus, bone marrow and pork cheek ravioli.
In keeping with the concept of dual personalities, Stafford + Mathis Kitchen's wine list features more recognizable varietals such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as unique varietals such as Assyrtiko and Petit Syrah.
Just steps from the STAPLES Center and Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live, Stafford + Mathis Kitchen is located on the second floor of the Luxe City Center Hotel. "We're thrilled to debut this innovative, intriguing dining concept to our guests, discerning local residents and visitors to Downtown LA," said Tom Xavier, General Manager of the Luxe City Center Hotel. "The menu at Stafford + Mathis Kitchen was designed to create a delicious and memorable dining experience for all palates, while enticing diners to stretch their culinary boundaries" added Xavier.
