Stallion Announces Appointment of Senior Geologist

JACKSON, MS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 8, 2007 -- The Stallion Group (OTCBB: SLGR) is pleased to announce that Mr. Ray Lewand has joined the company as Consulting Senior Geologist. Mr. Lewand brings over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with numerous successful finds as a geologist. He advised Forest Oil and Gas to undertake the Houston Turtle play which led to major discoveries in the Carson and Vintage Fields.

He was also responsible for the discoveries of Shogaloo/Red Rock and the development of Bayou Middle Fork Fields in North Louisiana. Later, he was responsible for the discoveries in the South Alabama Smackover Play and the Norphlet at Goodwater Field, Clark Co. Mississippi, both of which were the results of advanced seismic-strat (seis-strat) techniques, which recognized porosity trends.

In addition to those finds, he was responsible for the discoveries of Chavers Creek, Escambia Co. Ala. and field extensions in Holiday Creek and Oakvale, Jeff Davis Co. Miss. and West Raymond in Hinds Co.

As part of the management team of an energy company based in Jackson, Mississippi, he was responsible for five significant Frio gas discoveries utilizing seis-strat techniques. Mr. Lewand developed unique geophysical signature keys that led to templates that were applied to the seis-strat exploration in the Frio and Lower Tuscaloosa trends.

As Senior Geologist of Lake Ronel Oil Company in Texas, Mr. Lewand integrated geological models to fit geophysical 3-D surveys. These interpretations resulted in the discoveries of S.E. Mauriceville and Little Cypress Fields of Orange County Texas (75BCF). He also participated in the interpretation of the complex structural evolution of Orange Dome Field, which led to a new Frio pool discovery.

Stallion Group welcomes Mr. Lewand and is pleased to make this announcement.
