Stallion Provides Operational Update for Mississippi Project

JACKSON, MS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 5, 2007 -- The Stallion Group (OTCBB: SLGR) is pleased to provide this operational update relating to the first well drilled on its Area of Mutual Interest in Mississippi, USA. This well, the CMR-USA-39-14 (Redbug #1), was tied in and put on production on December 23, 2006. The Company's Geology Department has calculated the estimated reserves to be 340 Million Cubic Feet of Gas.

This well is on production. The Company's Operator, Griffin & Griffin, will continue to produce this well at a very conservative rate of approximately 140 mmcf/day with a 6/64 choke. Stallion Group has participated in drilling 4 wells over the past 9 weeks and the Company will be providing timely updates as test information becomes available. Stallion's Operator is currently engaged in site preparation work for our next well. We expect that drilling of this 5th well will commence immediately thereafter.

Stallion has a 30% working interest in approximately 200,000 gross acres of land in Mississippi.

The Company plans to drill an initial 50 wells within the Area of Mutual Interest (AMI). Over 7,500 miles of 2D seismic and 250 square miles of 3D seismic have already been shot. Over 100 drill targets have been identified to date and drilling will occur through out 2007.
