Standing Ovation Kicks-Off the Canadian Opening of Red Bull Flying Bach in Toronto

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - October 16, 2014) - The Flying Steps may not have always had their feet planted firmly on the floor as they spun, flipped and flew across the stage, but their first performance of Red Bull Flying Bach in Toronto was enough to bring the sold-out Massey Hall audience to their feet tonight, impressed by the unlikely combination of breakdance juxtaposed with live classical music.

Red Bull Flying Bach features world breakdance champions, Flying Steps and contemporary Swedish dancer, Anna Holmström, performing gravity-defying routines of popping and locking, flares and acrobatics, to the backdrop of Johann Sebastian Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier, played live on solo piano. Opera director and pianist extraordinaire Christoph Hagel meshes the classical score with electronic beats, offering a one-of-a-kind modern twist on a classic.

The Canadian portion of the world tour continues in Toronto with three remaining performances at Massey Hall until October 19, followed by four shows in Montréal at Place des Arts from October 23-26. Limited remaining tickets available at
