Stanford Athletics Hires Director of Ticket Sales

Stanford Stadium Football Ticket Sales and Marketing to Target New Markets

STANFORD, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 17, 2006 -- Stanford Athletics appointed Richard Muschell as Stanford Stadium's Director of Ticket Sales. Muschell, a seasoned sales and ticketing consultant with more than 15 years of professional sports industry experience, will oversee the 2006 Football ticket sales program. Muschell, who started on March 6, will manage a ticket sales force, which includes two sales representatives and a telemarketing team.

Muschell's experience in professional sports began in 1990 with the San Jose Sharks, where he started as an account manager and worked his way up to Director of Ticket Sales. In addition, Muschell held positions with the Golden State Warriors, FIFA Women's World Cup Soccer, the Calgary Flames and the San Francisco Demons (XFL Football). Most recently, Muschell served as the Director of Ticket Sales for the East West Shrine Football Game.

A long-time resident of the Bay Area, Muschell earned his BA at Brown University and his MBA in Marketing at San Francisco State University's School of Business.
