Staples Increases Funding to Boys & Girls Clubs of America Through iGive.com

Staples to Donate an Extra Percentage of Online Purchases Through iGive.com to Youth Organization

CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 4, 2006 --Just in time for the holidays, Staples Business Delivery, a business unit of Staples, Inc., and iGive.com, today announced an opportunity for customers to contribute to Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), simply by shopping online.

Staples will donate to BGCA 1 percent of every online purchase made at Staples.com via iGive.com, an online shopping mall where a portion of each purchase is donated to the shopper's favorite cause. This is in addition to the existing 2.8 of such purchases already donated to the shopper's favorite cause, all at no additional cost.

In order for purchases to be eligible for this promotion, all transactions must take place though the iGive.com online mall at www.iGive.com/Staples. Registration is free, simple and secure.
